Effects of Changes in Verbal Skill of Social Workers in Community Child Centers on Children: Focused on Aggression and Social Skill of Children

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate how the Helping for social workers has effects on their verbal skill and aggression, social skill of children. This study is a qualitative case, and was showed how the verbal skill of social workers had changed through the Helping. I applied a qualitative research methods, including quantitative approach. Finally, through the Helping the change of aggression and social skills of children was examined. The summary of this study is as follow. First, changes in verbal skill of social workers via the helping has showed. As a result of applying the verbal skill to group activities after helping, over Level 2 were frankness, accepting respect, empathic understanding. Secondly, after social workers had applied the verbal skill to group activities with children, as a result of any such changes in aggression and social skills of children, a significant difference in the verbal aggression and hostility were displayed in the experiment group, All over the children¡¯s aggressive behavior was reduced, especially passive, aggressive language was reduced. Social skills of children showed a significant difference in the self-control of sub-factors. As a factors that showed the highest incidence in behavioral observations of social skills, cooperativity was sharply elevated when they listened up their teachers, this was found to vary the effects depending on the listening attitude.
